Wedding Place cards are used to ensure your guests can find their seat easily and that they are seated in the correct place. The style of address for wedding place cards should match the style in your wedding invitations. If your wedding invitations are written in a traditional style, with your guests addressed as "Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lewis", then the place cards should show "Mr Peter Lewis" on one card and "Mrs Peter Lewis" on the other. Where the invitation is written with just first names, "Peter & Virginia" the place cards should also be informal simply having "Peter" written on one card and "Virginia" on another. All our place cards co-ordinate with your chosen stationery design.
You can then write your guests names or messages on the front of the place card yourself or we are able to offer an exceptional calligraphy service where each guests' name is hand painted in your theme colour. All our calligraphers were trained at the Roehampton Institute of Lettering, the foremost calligraphy school in Britain. Our chosen style of place card is called a 'tent' folded card. We have a choice of 6 different calligraphy styles - modern, traditional, cursive, italic, elegant and roundhand.
