You have worked tirelessly to ensure your wedding invitations look as beautiful as possible. You have selected your design and carefully picked the colours, but don’t forget to make the insides look good too! Your insert lets your guests know where to be and when, so pick a font that is legible and don’t make it too small - you want everyone to be able to read it. If we are doing your type-setting for you, we will make sure it’s perfect and you will receive FREE proofs to make sure you are completely happy before we go to print.
First, choose the font you like the best from our selection on the insert fonts page, then let us know the colours you would like the text and your names to be. In both our ‘Personalised’ and ‘Best of Both’ services we print your guest names for you too, FREE! You may want to have a few extra invites printed with a dotted line, to fill in by hand later on. If you are using our DIY Service, take inspiration from our ideas and give us a call if there is a font you would like to use because we will tell you it’s name so that you can download it.
Things you MUST include within your wedding invitations:
Names of the bride's parents or other hosts
First name of the bride
First name and surname of the bridegroom
Where the ceremony is taking place
Date, month and year of the wedding ceremony
Time of the ceremony
Location of the wedding reception
Address to which guests must reply
(Here’s a handy hint from us…Add in a date that your guests have to RSVP by. This makes it easier after the date, to give your friends a call/email to find out if they’re coming or not)
