Order of Service

An Order of Service is a run through of the wedding ceremony itself and contains details of the bridal party, the hymns, who are doing the readings etc. all in the order that the ceremony is taking place in. You can also include details of the exchanging of rings, music etc.

Order of the Day

An order of the day is an order of service alternative for civil ceremonies. It is usually a run through of your ceremony including details of any readings or music, important details of the ceremony and the names of those in the wedding party. Less traditional than an order of service, you can also include details of what will follow the ceremony, such as “photographs on the terrace”.
